Stonington Designs, a New England jewelry brand known for its modern take on heirloom woven wood bracelets, has launched its America250 Capsule Collection. The collection honors America’s heritage of resilience, craftsmanship and entrepreneurship through a blend of oak, bamboo and reclaimed premium woods.
Stonington Designs’ jewelry pairs refined design with purpose, creating pieces that invite customers to choose gifts anchored in meaning. The brand’s newest milestone came during the July Atlanta Market, where the America250 Commission discovered Stonington Designs and partnered to create an officially licensed capsule collection in celebration of the country’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
The collection includes:
- Officially licensed America250 designs
- Woven cuff, clasp and bangle bracelets
- Wooden hitch cover (a nod to the brand's very first product)
- Necklaces, earrings and a tungsten-and-wood ring
In addition to the America250 collection, Stonington Designs can customize collections for shops and organizations with options for initials, logos and heartfelt symbols at the company’s in-house woodshop. Every piece is artisan-made in the USA, stamped accordingly and crafted using reclaimed hardwoods.
Stonington Designs says a steadfast commitment to community is at the heart of its business. As an example, the company has been supporting a Military Spouse Weaving Program to provide flexible, artisan-standard work for military families.
“Being chosen to create an America250 Capsule Collection is more than an honor, it’s an opportunity to highlight the values that have shaped our brand from the beginning —craftsmanship, family, perseverance, gratitude to our military families and the belief that meaningful work creates meaningful connection,” says Co-founder Michelle Yozzo Drake.
Stonington Designs plans to debut its America250 Capsule Collection at two major January markets:
- Dallas Total Home & Gift Market (Jan. 7-13) at the World Trade Center Floor 11, Booth #11-1108
- Atlanta Market (Jan. 13-19) in Building 3, Floor 4, Booth #1200
During these shows, the brand will offer exclusive previews of the America250 Capsule and signature woven jewelry along with handmade displays and story cards for retail-ready merchandising, meet-the-makers moments with Co-founders Rich and Michelle Drake, and a collection designed for customers who love gifts with heritage and meaning.
