Denver Mart donated their event space and services to Operation Free Bird for their event in November. The Mart continues the tradition of supporting the local community through acts of philanthropy such as this.

The event, in its 16th year, is designed to bring financially struggling Adams County citizens together with local agencies, businesses and organizations. Adams County will supply families in need with a complete Thanksgiving dinner. Originally a small neighborhood get-together, the event has grown every year, with approximately 10,000 people expected to attend in 2019.

In addition to the Thanksgiving dinner, the free event will included flu shots, medical, dental, hearing and vision screening, career and personal advice, haircuts and child ID kits, free hot dogs and soft drinks, and much more. Additionally, every donated dollar is given back to the community.
