With so many friends and customers affected by the horrific fires in Gatlinburg, Tenn., Brumlow Mills, parent company of Flagship Carpets and Jane Farrell Turf & Carpets, “wanted to do what little we could to give back,” said Randall Thrasher, president.
In mid-December, 2016, Marsha Long, vice president of sales for Flagship Carpets, made a trip to the site to help feed firefighters and to assess opportunities to help. The visiting team Long led included Thrasher.
Thrasher said Brumlow had just seen customers such as Gatlinburg’s Hillbilly Golf at the 2016 IAAPA Attractions Expo, and that the company is now waiting to find out if help is needed. “We want to help however we can – reduced prices, whatever,” he said.
