Heart on Main Street received the HEARTS Award for its service to others and humanitarian excellence during the 36th ARTS Awards on Jan. 9 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. Both Dallas Market Center and ART, the creative home furnishings network, host the ARTS Awards as an international awards program dedicated to the home industry.
For the 2026 awards, the ARTS Awards Committee selected Heart on Main Street as its honoree for the HEARTS Award, which celebrates organizations that go beyond business to make a difference within the gift and home industry. Since its founding in 2023, Heart on Main Street has focused on supporting independent retailers impacted by natural disasters. From providing direct financial assistance to helping stores physically rebuild through its Independent Rebuild program and partnering with vendors through its Jumpstart program to offer free or deeply discounted inventory, the organization says its work “is rooted in action, empathy and long-term recovery.”
Heart on Main Street adds that this recognition affirms the heart of its mission and the community that makes its work possible.
“We are sincerely grateful to Dallas Market Center for hosting the ARTS Awards as well as the Arts Awards Committee and judges for recognizing the importance of service-driven work and the role independent retailers play in strengthening local economies across the country,” says Heart on Main Street.
