The Gift & Home Trade Association has named Brittany Waters, operations and marketing director at Schauben & Co., as recipient of the fifth annual 2025 Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive Award. Waters received the award during the GHTA Conference, which took place Oct. 15-17 in Park City, Utah.
Waters has worked in the gift industry for 11 years, starting in high school. She has held positions starting as a showroom assistant to now managing all aspects of showroom operations for Schauben & Co., including advertising, web support and vendor relations.
Schauben & Co. is a multi-line sales organization that serves the southeastern United States with an Atlanta showroom. Some brands include Bear Food, Catstudio, Dock & Bay, Florida Squeezed, Haute Diggity Dog, Julie + Joe, Pirani Life, San Diego Hat Co., Scout Bags and more.
GHTA says it recognized Waters for her entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and initiative in her work at Schauben & Co.
“GHTA has recognized salespeople, product designers, agency principals, industry execs and now it’s truly an honor to add the key position of showroom operations and Brittany’s name to this prestigious list,” says Michael Nieves, GHTA committee chair and vice president of sales at Paladone.
This award is given in honor of Chad Corzine, who co-founded Young Gift Executives in 2014 and passed away in 2021. GHTA presents the award to an individual who has a passion for the gift industry, passion for their business, leadership qualities and is under the age of 35. Past recipients include Ryan Lanzel (2021), Chelsea Peabody Bohannan (2022), Emalee Hoffman (2023) and Nikki Creveling (2024).
