Small ticket items pack a punch

At the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, custom name-drop magnets are a No. 1 seller at both of the stores on-site. Hilary Wilson, vice president of retail, says people love collecting smaller souvenirs like magnets that feature one-of-a-kind artwork and a name drop to take home. She adds that a retro-style magnet seems to be a hit with a lot of people.

Wilson shares, “Apparel is big here, too. But if I were to say what our bestseller is, it’s magnets. I think in travels, you don’t have a lot of room in your suitcase. A magnet is one of those things you can easily bring home.”
