Beacon Design, a customized gift supplier, has released a special collection of keepsakes commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States’ Army, Navy and Marine Corps. These handcrafted ornaments are designed to honor the legacy, sacrifices and valor of the men and women who serve America’s armed forces.
The United States Army celebrated its semi-quincentennial birthday on June 14. The U.S. Navy will reach this milestone on Oct. 13, and the U.S. Marine Corps will celebrate 250 years on Nov. 10.
Beacon Design says all three branches of military played a role in the revolution that led to America earning its independence in 1776. The new exclusive ornament collection pays tribute to these branches of the military by capturing their unique symbols, traditions and spirit. Each keepsake is created with intricate details, ensuring a lasting and meaningful keepsake for veterans, active-duty personnel, military families and collectors alike.
“As a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, it is an honor to contribute to a project celebrating the 250th anniversary of our great military,” says Carlos Ferreira, a design engineer who has been with Beacon Design for 20 years. “This milestone reminds us of the countless sacrifices made to protect American freedom. Through these commemorative ornaments, we pay tribute to our history and the values that continue to guide us forward.”
For the celebration, two ornaments will be crafted for each branch of military, featuring the official anniversary logo from the three military branches.
