Gift & Home Trade Association (GHTA) has announced that Emalee Hoffman, vice president of sales, Orange Circle Studio, is the 2023 recipient of the third annual Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive Award. The award was presented to Hoffman at the recent GHTA Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Hoffman is a rising star in the industry and has become the face of her company leading a new brand, overseeing a national rep force, managing key accounts and volunteering her time to many industry organizations. According to a GTHA press release, “she was an easy and much deserved recipient of this honor and already a leader in our industry.“
The honor is bestowed to an individual who demonstrates the following qualities:
- a passion for the industry;
- a passion for their business;
- promise as a future leader in the industry; and
- under the age of 35.
The award is named for Chad Corzine, who passed away in 2021. Corzine cofounded YGE (Young Gift Executives) in 2014 with the intent to give a voice to young industry leaders without a seat at the table. YGE soon merged with GHTA in 2015 and as a result saw an influx of young executives attending conferences, becoming board members and becoming vocal leaders in the industry.
GHTA is the gift and home industry’s professional trade association formed in 2000. For more information, visit www.giftandhome.org.
