To honor his lasting impact on the souvenir and gift industry, a new award has been established in Larry White’s name as part of the Smoky Mountain Gift Show’s Legends Awards program
The Larry White Legacy Award honors an individual whose commitment to building relationships strengthens the souvenir and gift industry. Inspired by more than 30 years of connecting people, supporting partners and creating opportunities through Souvenirs, Gifts & Novelties, the award recognizes leaders who put people first, invest in the success of others and help create a more collaborative and thriving industry.
“It seems fitting to have a Larry White Legacy Award as part of the Legends Awards because Larry was a legend,” Christina Bell, group show director, says. “He was a gift to our industry. To know Larry was to love Larry, and to know Larry was to have been helped by Larry.”
The inaugural Larry White Legacy Award winner will be recognized at the Smoky Mountain Gift Show in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m.
