China International Tourism Commodities Fair
The China International Tourism Commodities Fair (CITCF) is held in Yiwu every year. With over 1,200 exhibitors from China and dozens of overseas countries, it covers a display area of 50,000 square meters with 2,000-plus booths. With an aim of promoting innovations in tourism commodities and encouraging transactions in tourism commodities, it attracts buyers from more than 80 countries.

Golden Triangle Shows
Golden Triangle Shows, which organizes and manages regional business to business trade shows, has announced it is opening a new market in Kansas City, Mo. To be held September 24-26 at the KCI Expo Center, the Kansas City Gift & Jewelry Show is geared to serve the greater multi-state region, said Show Director Bobby Siddiqui. Currently, Golden Triangle Shows operates nine wholesale events total, with five in Greensboro, N.C., and four in Orlando, Fla.
“We are very excited to be in the Midwest now,” Siddiqui said. “Our exhibitors have pulled us into the area because of a strong need for a trade expo like ours. The retailers in the area have also loved the idea.” The event will feature 200 booths of top order writing gift vendors and various jewelry importers and wholesalers from across the nation. SURTEX Exposition and Conference
SURTEX Exposition and Conference, North America’s premier event for the sourcing of original art and design, announced recently that the 2017 show will return to New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, May 21-24, 2017. SURTEX is the only event of its kind dedicated to the sale and license of original art or design for use in the manufacturing of home goods, bedding, paper products, toys, calendars, textiles, fabrics and more.
Approximately 250 exhibiting artists from around the world will participate in one of three categories: Art and Brand Licensing with exhibitors who license designs; Atelier with exhibitors selling designs; and Resource Hub with exhibitors supplying technology and business essentials. In addition, the Design District, a new area featuring emerging artists will bring designers never seen before.
SURTEX also features an educational component, including a series of free pre-show webinars to help exhibitors prepare for the event. The on-site conference program will deliver business strategies from a creative perspective and cover all aspects of art licensing strategy, in 90-minute sessions, to help a designer take their small business through all steps in the product development process.
