The Asia America Trade Show
The Miami Wholesale Asia America Trade Show, now in its fourth year, has made history by becoming the “Show To Go To” for Caribbean, Central and South America buyers as well as over 6,000 exporters and importers in the Miami area. More than 8,000 buyers who attended the 2012 show have done more than $50 million in business, according to exhibitors’ estimates.

Dallas Market Center
Dallas Market Center, the most convenient and easy-to-shop marketplace, will feature an array of exhibitors, special events, cooking and product demonstrations as well as educational opportunities featuring a presentation by Bob Coviello, president of HTI Buying Group, during the upcoming Total Housewares & Gourmet Market, June 19-25.
The Total Housewares & Gourmet Market launched in January 2013 and is home to more than 1,500 premier manufacturers of housewares and gourmet products throughout the Dallas Market Center campus including temporary booths, permanent showrooms and the open-daily Gourmet Market, which will unveil its expansion totaling 22,000 square feet.
The Denver Apparel & Accessory Markets, featuring 100 showrooms and temporary exhibitors, offer lines in women’s, children’s and men's apparel and accessories.

The 2013 edition of NY NOW®, the Market for Home & Lifestyle (formerly NYIGF®) will debut August 17-21, 2013, with its 2,800-plus exhibitors, 100,000 products, and 400-plus product categories showcased in four new market collections – HOME, LIFESTYLE, HANDMADE and NEW! – and will introduce a synergistic new exhibit floor layout and extended show hours.
“This is one of those ‘pivotal’ moments in time for our industry,” said Christian Falkenberg, NY NOW director and GLM senior vice president. “New York’s market has evolved and improved considerably over the past few years, and this summer we are proud to introduce NY NOW, the Market for Home & Lifestyle, a more buyer-friendly, better-defined marketplace for fashion-forward, design-driven home and lifestyle resources.”
The summer 2013 market, which runs Saturday, August 17, through Wednesday, August 21, will be held across two venues: New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Pier 94. Beginning this summer, the show hours have been extended – running 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday and Monday – allowing buyers additional time to source and shop the reorganized exhibit floor.
TransWorld Business Partners with Surf Expo to Produce Swim Showroom Feature and Fashion Show Series
TransWorld Business and Surf Expo are joining forces to offer swimwear companies a can’t-miss opportunity to reach new customers and promote their latest looks.
Participation in the Swim Showroom offers swim brands full-page inclusion in the TransWorld Business summer issue (mailed out to 12,000 retailers and industry leaders) as well as the Surf Expo Pre-show magazine. The Swim Showroom will also be brought to life in Orlando, Fla., at a special VIP swim-industry fashion show at the Peabody Hotel on the night of September 6 and on the main stage of the Surf Expo trade show floor on September 7.
“The TransWorld Business fashion show is the culmination of our Summer Issue’s Swim Showroom, and the grand finale that brings the story and theme from the pages to life, sharing the excitement of our partners’ new swim lines with hundreds of buyers at the show,” said TransWorld Business Editor In Chief Mike Lewis. “Now in its sixth year, this year’s Swim Showroom is going to be our best yet.”
With a photo shoot on the Royal Pelagic, a 128-foot luxury cruiser, this year’s theme will focus on “faraway places and everyday dreams” and will be produced and styled by Bikini Bird.
Last year the Peabody Hotel swim fashion show was one of the can’t-miss events of Surf Expo. “The mix of lines represented all factions of the swim industry, and there was so much excitement and anticipation in the air as buyers, distributors, manufacturers and invited press waited for the show to begin,” said Surf Expo Buyer Relations Manager Kathy Wilkie. “Our partnership with TransWorld Business is bound to make the Peabody Fashion Show one of Surf Expo’s hottest events.”

In the Breeze Has a New Permanent Showroom at AmericasMart
The new AmericasMart showroom for In the Breeze offers an expanded product display.
Last year In the Breeze celebrated the grand opening of a permanent showroom at the AmericasMart in Atlanta, Ga. For 2013, the company would like to welcome retailers to a new, larger showroom at the Mart. In the Breeze is now located in Building 2 on Floor 7, Suite 798.
The company was honored to receive the Best of Floor Award for Outstanding Visual Display by The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market for its previous location and is excited for retailers to see the expanded showroom and product display.
