The Association of Partners for Public Lands Names New Executive Director

The Association of Partners for Public Lands (APPL) Board of Directors has announced that Dan Puskar will in June assume the duties of executive director.

A long-standing member of the national parks community, Puskar will be responsible for the overall management of APPL and will seek to advance its mission to foster stewardship and appreciation of public lands and historic sites through effective partnerships, according to the association.


Cherie Marcum Named EVP of Finance at Dallas Market Center

Dallas Market Center recently announced that Cherie Marcum has been named executive vice president of finance at Dallas Market Center. In her position, Marcum is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial processes, audits and budgeting system.

Marcum joined Dallas Market Center in 2007 as a controller and was promoted to vice president of finance in 2008. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Baylor University and went on to finish her CPA certification.
