The new line of anime-inspired plush debuts on shelves this spring.![]() Los Angeles-based Yoonique LLC has debuted the LaBabies line as playful, mischief-making plush displaying personalities that are much bigger than their size. The soft, squishy plush line is new this spring. From feisty to energetic, the anime-inspired critters bring playful chaos to retailers looking for something new this season. “LaBabies are little cuties with the cool, cocky attitude you’d expect from confirmed mischief-makers who delight in having fun,” says Jeanne Yoon, founder and CEO. “With its anime-inspired concept we think this new product line will expand our already award-winning presence in the retail space, as well as be the next cool collectible plush toy for consumers.” The first series of LaBabies consists of four critters that feature big-time personalities: energetic and enthusiastic ViVi; imaginative and delightful LiLi; adventurous and mischievous GiGi; and feisty prankster ZuZu. Each collectible plush doll comes with a hangtag that features its name and picture, which reflects its own over-the-top expression as well as its bio. Yoonique says these new plushies are “perfect for collecting, gifting, going on adventures with and, of course, a wonderful new snuggling experience.” The company says these plush are great for kids ages 3three and up, “kidults” and collectors of all ages. The debut series comes in an assortment of sizes ranging from 4.5-inch clip-ons to extra-large 24-inch plush. |
