The new logo pays homage to the tradition and history of the 59-year-old wholesale trade show.

The Smoky Mountain Gift Show features a new logo for 2024. Show organizer Clarion Events says it has been about 13 years since the Smoky Mountain Gift Show rebranded.

“When looking at rebranding, our biggest goals were to honor the tradition and history of the Smoky Mountain Gift Show, celebrate the location of the event and choose a color palette that was bright and complimentary to the on-site experience,” says Christina Bell, show director of the Smoky Mountain Gift Show.

Since the Smoky Mountain Gift Show always takes place at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the shape and font on the new logo pay homage to the recognizable national park sign.

Clarion Events also made sure to incorporate an American black bear on the rebranded logo, which was also featured on the old logo. “The bear is such an iconic representation of Gatlinburg and one of the park’s most famous residents,” says Bell.

The new logo also highlights the year the show was established, 1965, to showcase the long history of the event.

Clarion Events wanted the new logo to feature a color scheme that would complement the gold and brown tones seen throughout the Gatlinburg Convention Center while also offering a pop of color to stand out on signs at the show. The show organizer opted for purple and gold tones for its new logo.

“The Gatlinburg Convention Center is very uniquely built into a mountain, with multiple levels and exhibits taking up every area, so we are always focused on the on-site experience and helping with directions and wayfinding for retailers,” Bell explains.

This year’s Smoky Mountain Gift Show will be Nov. 6-9 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. The show will have more than 300 exhibitors and brands as well as a new area of exhibits called Makers’ Market, featuring handmade and unique products. The show floor will also include a Product Preview Area, featuring over 75 new products as well as Made in America and Zootique tours to guide buyers to booths in these categories around the show floor.

“We are really looking forward to continuing to evolve the Smoky Mountain Gift Show to meet the needs of the gift and souvenir community,” says Bell. “As we look ahead through this year and to 2025, our 60th anniversary, we want to continue to grow the reach and opportunities for buyer-seller connection at the event, as well as celebrate those who have been loyally attending, some who even helped start the show in the 60s!”
