New York City’s gift, home and accessories wholesale event to commemorate 100 years at February 2024 event.
NY NOW, a wholesale trade show in New York serving the gift, home and accessories marketplace, is preparing for the 100th anniversary of the event with the upcoming 2024 Winter Market. At the center of this commemoration will be enhancements aimed at providing an even more collaborative and immersive experience for the thousands of exhibitors and tens of thousands of attendees expected to attend the event, scheduled for Feb. 4-7, 2024, at New York City’s Javits Center, according to a press release. Twice per year, NY NOW draws buyers who look for the latest debuts, high-end designs, and must-have wares in the gift, home and accessories industries. One enhancement planned for the Winter 2024 show is the first Emerging Fine Jewelry Designer (EFJD) Incubator, according to a press release. Developed to support emerging fine jewelry designers as they make their foray onto the international scene, the initiative leverages the strength of Luxury Lifestyle and the momentum this newly enhanced section established during the Summer 2023 Market. Brands selected for inclusion in the EFJD Incubator will benefit from strategically placed, turn-key exhibit space, as well as ongoing mentorship, guidance and support. The EFJD Incubator program has been spearheaded by Liz Kantner and Robin Kramer, jewelry mentors and consultants with a combined 30+ years’ experience navigating the nuances of the designer fine jewelry market. Additional enhancements include three recently re-envisioned categories – Gift & Lifestyle, Home, and Jewelry & Accessories, according to the release, with additional details forthcoming.
