Global Eye Wear Acquires Swibco
Global Eye Wear, an SRP Company, a leader in fashion sunglass programs, has announced the acquisition of Swibco on May 22, 2017.
Swibco, an industry leader in personalized products, will bring 30 years of souvenir experience to the Global Eyewear and SRP team. Global, based in Orlando, Fla., currently provides sunglasses to the resort tourist, mass and mid-tier markets.
The president and founder of Global Eyewear, Sanjay Srinivasan, started the company in 2007 with the idea that great customer service, quality products and fashion-forward styles will be the cornerstone of success. The addition of Swibco will only help to reinforce that ideal.
“Combining both companies’ customer service, distribution and marketing strategies will only strengthen our ability to better serve our clients,” said Srinivasan. “We are excited to welcome the Swibco team and the wealth of experience John Isaacson and his team brings,”he added.

Beachcombers to be a Division of Transpac
C&F Acquires Beachcombers Coastal Life
C&F Enterprises, a leading gift and home accessories company with over 40 years of global sourcing and manufacturing experience, has announced the purchase of Beachcombers Coastal Life. This marks the second wholesale acquisition for C&F Enterprises in the last 12 months, expanding on their market leadership in seasonal, gift, and home décor.
Beachcombers Coastal Life will operate as a division of Transpac, under the leadership of President Laurie Gilner.

Beachcombers Coastal Life will continue to operate out of Fort Myers, Fla., under their current management and product development teams, with Transpac’s executive team providing direction and lending their vast industry experience to the BCL model.
