Golden Triangle Show

Golden Triangle Show’s first expo in Kansas City, Mo., was a success for both buyers and vendors alike. The show took place in September, 2016, and was well received by the buyers from the five-state region. Hundreds of qualified buyers attended and wrote orders for future delivery and also did cash and carry transactions for their stores. The show included vendors within the jewelry, accessories, apparel and gift categories from across the nation.

“Buyers were most appreciative of the quality of the show and its vendors,” said Show Director Bobby Siddiqui. “They only get this type of show exposure in Dallas or Chicago, or Vegas. It was really well received and we will be building it from here to become a strong regional marketplace.” GTS plans on doing the Kansas City Gift and Jewelry show twice for 2017. Dates will include a Spring Market and a Fall 2017 event.

The Rocky Mountain Gift Show at the Denver Mart

The Rocky Mountain Gift Show, combined with the Denver Apparel & Accessory Market, are easily accessible with plenty of free parking, all under one roof in Denver, Colo. The event includes: Gift Temporaries, Feb. 24-27, 2017; The Mart, February 23-27, 2017; and the Expo, February 24-27, 2017. ToyFest West

An event at ToyFest West 2016. A 30 percent increase in attendance was recorded for last year's show.

With four consecutive years of growth, ToyFest West is looking forward to celebrating its fifth anniversary in Las Vegas with camaraderie and special events, as well as the West Coast debut for hundreds of new toy products for 2017. The show will take place March 5-7, 2017, Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

The new, three-day show schedule will feature the annual Sunday Night Gala honoring new members to the Hall of Fame as well as Retailer of the Year. Buyers will also enjoy the daily raffle held on all three show days. Every purchase order written qualifies for an opportunity to win cash prizes.

Buyers from all 50 states and 27 foreign countries gathered for the September 18-21, 2016 Las Vegas Souvenir & Resort Gift Show. Featuring nearly 1,300 booths, including 170-plus new exhibitors, the 11th edition at the Las Vegas Convention Center brought the industry together for four days of networking, product introductions, innovations and trendspotting.

“Now in its 11th year, this show continues to surprise and delight buyers and exhibitors alike with new initiatives, resources and opportunities,” said Lisa Glosson, show director, Urban Expositions. “In addition to a record number of new exhibitors, we also added a special Made in America section and showcased our largest selection of handmade offerings to date. The Los Angeles Gift and Home Market
Further strengthening and enhancing the product offerings, travel savings and overall market experience for its western region buying audience, the LA Mart and Urban Expositions have joined forces to reorganize the Winter 2017 edition of Los Angeles Gift and Home Market Week. Urban Expositions is moving 200-plus order-writing temporary exhibitors from the Los Angeles Convention Center to the 2nd Floor exhibit hall of the LA Mart, complementing the building’s permanent showroom offerings. In addition, the temporary show’s popular World Style, Fair Trade, Jewelry Cash & Carry and Vintage exhibitors will return to their original Kentia Hall location at the Convention Center – renewing the “bohemian bazaar” buying atmosphere retailers have always enjoyed.

The two management teams have shifted LA Gift and Home Market Week dates to a February pattern to avoid conflicts with other industry shows and give marketgoers access to significant downtown LA hotel rate savings. As always, one badge provides access to both venues and complimentary shuttle service will be provided between venues and select host hotels.

The California Marketplace Temps @ LA Mart will be held Feb. 17- 19, 2017, at the LA Mart, second floor exhibit hall. The Kentia Collective Temps @ LA Convention Center will be held Feb. 17-20, 2017, at the LA Convention Center, lower level. The LA Mart Winter Market will be held Feb. 15-20, 2017, at the LA Mart. As part of the market festivities, the LA Mart and Urban Expositions will host the “Winter Blast”- Market Party on Saturday, February 18 beginning at 6 p.m., second floor, LA Mart Trade Hall. Attendees are invited to enjoy a light snack, adult beverages, great music and dancing to celebrate.

The Philadelphia Gift Show

The Seattle Gift Show
As the first show of the winter 2017 buying season, the Seattle Gift Show brings a versatile selection of products built around the Pacific Northwest lifestyle to the Washington State Convention Center, January 6-9, 2017.
